Bilbao Babes

Look at all those babes in Bilbao! Today was so much fun. Sure, we had a 5 hour drive that took closer to 6 1/2 because of so many rest stops, but touring the Guggenheim and then adventuring out on our own tonight for dinner was such an awesome time!

There were a lot of neat exhibits and a lot of weird ones too. My favorite was the wishing tree because my Spanish counterpart had already written my wish down!

It says that they wish for a motorcycle, a boyfriend, and a lot of happiness this year :)

The fun but weird ones were all the participatory exhibits, like creating your own mountains and climbing through this canopy that symbolized the human body and fertilization. All right.

After the Guggenheim we made it to our hotel (which is a very nice holiday inn, believe it or not!) and then Brie, eddy and I went to the grocery store for some French bread, cheese, jamón and cherries for dinner. Yum. And so European! Then we did a little adventuring around Bilbao.

I love all the awesome churches everywhere!

Then some of the girls in our group watched the Mormon Pride and Prejudice (which I had never seen before) and now it's off to bed! We're off to the beach tomorrow so we have an early wake up (again) scheduled.
