Midweek update

So far this week has just been classes/siestas/homework and workouts, so that explains the lack of blog updates. But today we actually went and did something fun, so here you go!

We traveled all over the Madrid area today for several errands; but halfway through we decided just to explore for a little bit too. And we discovered an aquarium/zoo! 

Random but fun, I know! Then it was back to la plaza del sol for a delicious dinner of sandwiches, churros con chocolate and gelato. Today was a cheat day, can you tell? We also took some photo ops in la plaza mayor. 

And we found the plaza del toro, where they have bullfights. 

It was a little rainy today, which made our adventure all the more exciting! Tomorrow we're hoping to come back and explore even more. It's fun to get out of Alcalá and into the city every once in a while. And it really does feel more and more like my city!
