Today, after la comida and my lit and civ classes, Rachel and I walked around Alcalá and visited the Museo de Cervantes, which is a tour of Cervantes' home here in Alcalá. It has been restored and includes a neat exhibit about different editions of Don Quijote (Cervantes' most famous work).

For a snack tonight I had some soup and nísperos, which are these delicious apricot-like fruits. I could seriously eat the whole bowl. And milk is boxed here!

After our dinner/snack Rachel and I went for a run on the trail that goes by the río Henares that is just in back of our street-and it was a gorgeous night for a run.

And we also had intercambios today, and even though I wasn't in the same group as last time, I still got to chat with my friend Miguel Angél (he's named after Michelangelo-get it?) after which was a lot of fun. I can't wait for no inglés miércoles mañana and my day to sleep in! And hopefully if all goes as planned I'll start another flamenco class! Woohoo! Life is good, especially with friends and excursions and minimal tarea :)
