Alcalá Noche en Blanco

Last night Alcalá had la Noche en Blanco, when all the museums are open for free, there are concerts all over town, and dancing everywhere! We were able to walk around and get a good look at a bunch of different things, including a museum and two awesome concerts. The first one was with a symphonic band and singers that sang some Sinatra and Aretha Franklin.

Then we walked past this crazy electro-dubstep type stage but nobody was dancing.

BUT THEN. We came back to the plaza and found this: http://www.dream-alcala.com/17383-concierto-40-principales-en-la-noche-en-blanco-de-alcala-de-henares/

The top hits radio station was hosting a concert with a bunch of boy bands, the Spanish version of Macklemore, and some Asian pop stars. It was something else.

The choreography was straight up 90s, the songs were sometimes in Spanish, sometimes in crazy English that made no sense, and the outfits were all denim and lots of sleeveless leather vests. Woot woot. I had so much fun though! I love these kinds of music festivals and it was a wonderful night.

Today we had church and then a mini FHE because our real FHE comes tomorrow night with Elder Lopez (one of the host dads and a former General Authority) talking to us about the history of the Church in Spain. It's going to be great!
