Reina Sofia

Monday was a day trip up to the Reina Sofia, Madrid's modern art museum. I love that we can get into so many museums for free with our student ID's! I have a newfound love for visiting museums and being able to walk through for as long as I like. And we were allowed to take photos in most areas of the museum! Although not in the "Guernica" section, which is too bad. That painting is something else, especially in person. Very cool.

picasso: "figure"

this dali painting reminded me of the alien cardboard cutouts in men in black
for some reason! although i have no idea why.

some of franco's propaganda posters: "guns, homeland, bread and justice"

looooove this dali "girl at the window"
(so much that I bought a poster of it for my own!)

i love the angels surrounding the earth!
"a world" by ángeles santos

virginia and i!

look how close we are to the train station!
And Monday also brought some life-changing news to los españoles....I'll write about it tonight!
